Tynia Leach

Tynia Yavonne Leach, known by many simply as "Ty", age 55, of West, passed away Friday morning, September 19, 2025 at Ascension Providence Hospital in Waco, while surrounded by loved ones.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 26, 2025 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Pastor Chris Silva officiating. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Ty was born February 19, 1970 in Dallas, the daughter of the late Marshall and Mary (McLeod) Dunlap. She was a Teague High School graduate, and later she had a career as an escrow agent in the real estate industry, demonstrating dedication and professionalism throughout her tenure with Walt Fair. Ty was a remarkable woman who found joy in the smallest of things. She possessed a passion for antiqueing, crafting, cooking, and baking, often taking the time to create heartfelt meals for family gatherings and special occasions. Her love for preparing food was matched only by her ability to forge deep connections with those around her, making friends wherever she went. Ty was not only a loyal friend but a dependable source of support for many, embodying kindness and generosity in all she did. She enjoyed quiet moments spent fishing, immersing herself in books, or simply enjoying the company of family and friends, reflecting her love for life and the relationships she cultivated. While she was known to be a great friend, nothing meant more to her than her time with her son, Jake.

Survivors include her son, Jake Sparks and wife Kelsey, of Gholson; her step-son, John Leach, and step-daughter, Lauren Reagon; grandchildren, Riley and Elliana Reagon; brothers, Trever Dunlap and wife Stephanie, and Troye Dunlap and wife Wendy; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Though you are gone, you will always live on in our hearts, and we will carry you with us wherever we go. Rest peacefully, our beloved Ty.
