Tommy Stanford

Tommy Larson Stanford, age 55, of West, passed away Saturday morning, May 23, 2026, at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Hospital in Waco.

The family will receive visitors from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West.

Tommy was born on October 29, 1970, in Waco, to W.D. and Betty (Larson) Stanford. He graduated from Lorena High School and later worked at Brazos Feed & Supply, where he was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to lend a helping hand. Tommy found joy in the simple things in life. He loved being outdoors, whether he was relaxing in the fresh air or spending time with family and friends. More than anything, he treasured the moments he shared with his niece and nephews, who brought him endless pride and happiness. Tommy will be remembered for his kind heart, quiet nature, and the love he had for those closest to him.

Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Pamela Stanford.

Survivors include his sisters, Debbie Sims and husband Greg, and Rene Groppe and husband Gerald; step-father, Elroy Richter; a niece, four nephews and many other relatives and friends.
