William Terry "Turk" Allen, a cherished father, husband, brother, and friend, was born on July 10, 1957, in Austin, Texas, to Otis and Shelia (Cross) Allen. He peacefully passed away on August 28, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and craftsmanship.

The family will welcome visitors 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Autley's Bar located at 788 T.M. West Parkway, West, TX 76691.

A proud 1975 graduate of West High School, Terry dedicated his life to the art of carpentry. He established himself as a skilled carpenter, proudly working under Billy Jackson Construction Company and others. He was involved in woodworking, particularly in building cabinets.

On July 31, 1993, Terry married the love of his life, Michele Barefield, in West. Together, they created a nurturing and joyful home. Above all, Terry's greatest joy stemmed from his beloved family.

Terry's passions extended far beyond the workshop. He was an enthusiastic collector of vinyl records and stamps, always delighting in the stories behind each piece. His love for music was a constant companion, as he could often be found enjoying melodies that transcended time. Additionally, he found solace in nature through fishing and enjoyed playing dominoes with friends. A die-hard Texas Longhorns fan, he carried a spirit of loyalty and camaraderie for all sports. Terry will be remembered for his radiant smile, keen sense of humor, and unwavering support for those he loved.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Bobby Allen; and his sister, Barbara Allen.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 33 years, Michele Allen of West; his daughter, Angela Allen of Webster; a sister, Carol Mariott and husband Randy of Houston; his nephews, Wesley Mariott and wife Holly and Russell Mariott and wife Sarah; and many other relatives and friends.
