Stefanie was born on November 5, 1971, in Waco, the cherished daughter of Michael Walts and Diane (Neel) Walts Parma. A proud 1990 graduate of West High School, Stefanie furthered her education at McLennan Community College where she was recognized on the Dean's List. Throughout her career, she dedicated herself to serving others, working first with Atmos Energy and then as a diligent Security Guard with Paladin Investigation and Security in Waco. Known for her vibrant personality, she had a deep love for reading, particularly political articles and mystery novels. She possessed a remarkable affinity for photography, often capturing the beauty of sunflowers, sea turtles, and dolphins. As storms would roll in, she would find herself mesmerized by the lightning, a testament to her appreciation for the fierce beauty in nature. Stefanie had a special fondness for the colors purple and turquoise, which reflected her spirited and lively character. Family gatherings, especially during the holidays, held a special place in her heart, bringing her joy and warmth that will forever be remembered.

Stefanie is survived by her daughters, Mikayla Reed and Chelsea Reed and her fiance Max; her mother, Diane Parma and husband Gary; her father, Michael Walts and wife Stephanie; her brother, Michael Shannon Walts; her step-brother, Robert Horton and wife Kenna; her step-sister, Melissa Gustin and husband Roger; the father of her children, John Reed; a bonus daughter, Bethany Berger; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
