Rosemary (Korenek) Mynarcik, age 92, of Elm Mott, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Hospital in Waco.

A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 3, 2026 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. Born on May 11, 1934, in Bellmead, she was the beloved daughter of William and Millie (Havranek) Korenek. Rosemary's early years were filled with the enduring values of family and community, which shaped her into the compassionate and spirited woman we cherished. She attended Sacred Heart Academy and La Vega Elementary before graduating La Vega High School in 1952. On October 19, 1953, Rosemary was united in marriage to Daniel Mynarcik Sr. in Bellmead, a partnership that blossomed into a loving family. Though Daniel preceded her in death on March 22, 2011, their bond remained a guiding light in Rosemary's life. A lifelong member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellmead, Rosemary exemplified her faith by teaching CCE for many years and actively participating in the Catholic Daughters of America Court #1729. Her dedication to education extended to her career, where she worked as a secretary at La Vega Elementary School and in Budget Control at Texas State Technical Institute where she was chosen Business Office Employee of the year in 1988. Rosemary worked for 38 years before retiring in 2002. She was a member of the Texas State Teachers Association, Heart of Texas Square Dance Association, S.P.J.S.T. Linden Hall and Geneva Hall. Rosemary enjoyed dancing, playing "42," and indulging her creative side through painting on canvas, arts and crafts, and gardening. Her collections of angels reflect her gentle heart and the beauty she saw in the world around her. Above all, she cherished the moments spent with her family, and friends.

Rosemary is also preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, B.J. Korenek.

Survivors include her children, Daniel "Danny" Mynarcik Jr. and his wife Lori, of Waco and David Mynarcik of Ft. Worth; grandchildren, Amanda Rose Mackey, Amy Delk, Adam Bajer and Amanda Lynn; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Kinlee, Jeren, Caden, and Joah-Ryan; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Louis Mynarcik Jr., Phillip Buxkemper, Alex Mynarcik, Phillip Mynarcik, and Larry Mynarcik Jr.
