Rose Kubacak

June 12, 1933 — September 13, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rosalie Marie "Rose" Kubacak, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world peacefully on Saturday September 13, 2025, at the age of 92.

A rosary will be recited 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, followed by visitation until 4:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2025 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with Rev. Ed Karasek and Rev. Timothy Vaverek as celebrants. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Born on June 12, 1933, in West, Rose was the cherished daughter of Agnes (Gerik) and Frank Marak Jr. A proud graduate of St. Mary's School and West High School's Class of 1951, Rose exemplified a life of dedication and service. On April 7, 1956, she joyfully united in marriage with Charlie Kubacak, with whom she shared 68 wonderful years until his passing on October 21, 2024. Their bond was a testament to love and partnership, and they were an inspiration to all who knew them. Rose was a lifelong and devout member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, actively participating in the Catholic Daughters of America Court #829, KJZT Society #11, St. Anne's Altar Society, and the 50-50 Club. With over 40 years in banking, she retired as a cashier at West Bank & Trust. Rose was a passionate baker, delighting family and friends with her famous buchtas, and she loved canning pickles and making beets and jellies. An avid sports enthusiast, she was a devoted fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, the West Trojans, the Baylor Bears, and Henderson State Reddies, and the Grand Canyon Lopes volleyball team. Rose cherished every moment spent cheering for her children and grandchildren at their events, demonstrating her unwavering support and love. In this time of grief, we find comfort in knowing that Rose's legacy of love, faith, and community will continue to guide and inspire us. May she rest in eternal peace.

Rose is also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Jill Suggs; brothers, Arthur, Harry, Alfred, Stanley, Frankie, and Raymond Marak; and sisters, Edith Sulak, Molly Vanzura, Evelyn Vrbas, Henrietta Snokhous, and Helen Klish.
