Ricky was born December 10, 1984 in Whitney, the son of Richard and Jacqueline (Sulak) Huggins. He grew up in Troy, where he developed a passion for sports, actively participating in football and baseball, as well as showing pigs through the Future Farmers of America (FFA). Ricky graduated from Troy High School in 2003. His commitment to education led him to earn a degree in Electrical Computerized Control Systems and Robotics from Texas State Technical College in 2004, followed by an Associate's Degree in Maintenance and Reliability Management from North Carolina State University in 2021. He dedicated his professional life to the field as a Maintenance Planner Scheduler for M & M Mars, a role he embraced since 2013. Before joining M & M Mars, he spent several years at Colorite Plastics in Waco. On May 1, 2010, Ricky married the love of his life, Karie Daniell, in Lacy Lakeview. Together, they built a loving home and cherished their family. Ricky, known affectionately by many as "Bubba", was a devoted husband and a proud father and grandfather. His family was his pride and joy, and he delighted in attending all their sporting events and coaching his grandsons baseball team, where he would cheer them on with unwavering support. He also enjoyed cooking and barbequing, often gathering loved ones around the grill. His interests included tinkering and fixing things, fishing, hunting, golfing, and swimming. Ricky's adventurous spirit extended to traveling, creating unforgettable memories with his family.
