Patrick George "Pat" Donnell, age 56, of West, passed away early Wednesday afternoon, November 26, 2025 at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Hospital in Waco.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West.

Pat was born on March 23, 1969, in Hillsboro, Texas, to Timothy and Jeanette (Vochoska) Donnell. A 1987 graduate of West High School, Pat possessed a steadfast work ethic and a deep sense of duty. He was a Jailer for the McLennan County Sheriff Department. Pat also held positions in security at Hillcrest Hospital and worked in organ transportation for NORA, showcasing his commitment to the well-being of others. On May 16, 1998, Pat married his beloved wife, Regina "Gina" Javier, in Hubbard, Texas. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and the joys of family. Pat was passionate about sports, particularly baseball, and found pleasure in watching games and celebrating the camaraderie they fostered. He often spent his leisure time playing pool and enjoyed watching sports, playing golf, making salsa, and eating at his favorite restaurant, El Conquistador in Waco.

Pat is preceded in death by his father, Timothy Donnell and a son, Rance Donnell.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 27 years, Gina Donnell of West; his mother, Jeanette Donnell of West; his children, Peyton Donnell, of College Station, Gavin Donnell and girlfriend Ashley Watts, of College Station, and Kensi Donnell and boyfriend Keegan Hyde, of West; a brother, Kevin Donnell and wife Donna; sister, Dawn Donnell Markgraf and wife Janelle; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Honorary pallbearers are Peyton Donnell, Gavin Donnell, Kensi Donnell, Ruel Javier, Raymond Javier, Wesley Matus, Wesley Gatlin, Darrell Picha, Greg Picha, Raymond Barton, Bart Cox, Eric Hudson, and the late Jojo Javier and Freddie Pavlas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
