Nancy Willis

September 5, 1954 — May 1, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Elaine Willis, age 70, who left this world peacefully on May 1, 2025, at her residence in Whitney, Texas, after a courageous journey with health challenges.

A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Nancy was born on September 5, 1954, in Colorado City, Texas, the beloved daughter of Hubert and Mildred (Feaster) Willis. A proud graduate of Grand Prairie High School in 1973, Nancy dedicated her life to the medical industry as an Operating Room Technician for many surgeons and hospitals in the Arlington and Mesquite area for over 40 years. A member of the Open Range Cowboy Church in Whitney, she found strength and joy in her faith and community, fostering connections that enriched her life and the lives of those around her. Nancy had a real zest for life that was evident in her many passions. She cherished horseback riding through the Texas countryside, spent serene afternoons fishing by the water, and delighted in exploring new places through her love for travel and motorcycle riding.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Virginia Reaves.

A doting mother and grandmother, she leaves behind her son, Dustin White and wife Annie, and her daughter, Samantha White; her cherished grandchildren, Brandon and Megan McIntyre; a sister, Latricia Ross; her beloved dogs (Noah, Xena, and Pebbles), who held a special place in her heart; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Open Range Cowboy Church in Whitney.
