Millie Ann (Pustejovsky) Podsednik, age 84, of Arlington, passed away Friday morning, December 12, 2025 at her daughter's home.
A rosary will be recited 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Aderhold Funeral Home in West, followed by visitation until 7:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 19, 2025 officiated by Rev. Will Straten, at St. Martin Cemetery in Tours.
Millie was born December 27, 1940, the daughter of Albin and Norma (Svacek) Pustejovsky. A graduate of West High School's class of 1959, Millie embarked on a journey that would lead her to a lifetime characterized by love and devotion. She found her soulmate in Thomas Podsednik, marrying him on November 25, 1961, in the town of Tours. Together, they nurtured a family filled with laughter and warmth until Tommy's passing on March 17, 2025. As a dedicated homemaker, Millie poured her heart into creating a loving home for her family, who will forever hold her memory dear. Millie's passions were as vibrant as her spirit. She had a natural talent for cooking, gardening, couponing and dancing, often bringing family and friends together at her table to share delicious meals and joyful moments. Her thoughtful nature and caring heart were apparent to all who knew her as she consistently placed the needs of others before her own. She found the most joy in the simple act of spending time with loved ones. Her influence extended beyond her immediate family, leaving an indelible mark on the lives she touched.
Millie is also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Albin Pustejovsky Jr.
Survivors include her children, Terri Podsednik of Arlington, Darrell Podsednik of Arlington, Lana Podsednik of Arlington, Karen Lee and husband Shane of Gainesville, Patricia Woody and husband Scott of Mansfield, and Jason Podsednik, of Napa, CA; grandchildren, Monica Flinn, Thomas Flinn, Kevin Flinn and wife Stephanie, Hannah Podsednik, Gage Lee, Payne Lee, Kate Woody, and Jenna Woody; brother, George Pustejovsky and wife Donna; sister, Evelyn Johnson; sister-in-law, Betty Pustejovsky; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
