Obituary

Mary Lee Fagan, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, age 74, of West, passed away peacefully Friday, December 26, 2025 at her residence.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 2, 2026 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Colton Glaser officiating. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Born on March 3, 1951, in Waco, Texas, Mary was the daughter of John and Mary (Bell) Kruger. She was a graduate of University High School in 1969, and later dedicated her career as an office secretary at URS Medical Supply in Waco, where she was known for her kindness and dedication. On August 21, 1970, Mary married the love of her life, Travis Fagan, in Houston. Together, they built a life rooted in love and family until Travis's passing on March 11, 2020. Mary's heart was always open, and her passion for family was evident in every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished watching her favorite soap operas, including "Days of Our Lives" and "The Young and The Restless," as well as cheering on her favorite football teams, the Texas Longhorns and the Dallas Cowboys. Her laughter and warmth will be missed by all who knew her.

Mary is also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ronnie Kruger and Johnny Kruger; and sisters, Della Rea Gilman and Connie Hanley.

Survivors include her son, Travis Fagan, Jr. and wife Stacy of West; grandchildren, Britney Lane and husband Cody, and Courtney Brandon and husband Jared; great-grandchildren, Barrett Lane, Brynlee Lane, and Waylon Brandon; sisters, Peggy Conway, and Sharon Pilgrim and husband Thomas; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her physical therapy team and hospice nurses from Reliable Home Health, Whitney and Nicki; Halcyon Hospice, Joe and Trina; as well as Stacey from Golden Trails Senior Apartments. The family would also like to thank Aderhold Funeral Home for their care now and throughout the years.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
