Obituary

Margarita Charrez Pedraza, of De Leon, Texas, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, left this world unexpectedly in an accident on December 7, 2025, at the age of 68.

A rosary will be recited 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, followed by visitation until 4:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 15, 2025 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. Timothy Vaverek as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Margarita was born on December 27, 1956, in Ixmiquilpan, Hidalgo, Mexico, to her parents, Andres and Blandina Charrez. Margarita dedicated over 20 years to her work as a seamstress putting together custom-made cowboy boots at Kimmel Boot Company in Comanche, Texas, where her craftsmanship was a testament to her hardworking spirit. She was passionate about many things in life. Margarita had an adventurous spirit, often spending her weekends at the horse races, where her laughter and enthusiasm could light up the room. A devoted gardener, she found joy in nurturing her plants and sharing the fruits of her labor with family and friends. Cooking was another of her great loves, as she delighted in preparing delicious meals that brought everyone together around the table. Margarita cherished her family above all else, finding joy in every moment spent with them.

Margarita is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jose Charrez.

Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Javier Torres; her children, Damian Escobar and wife Frances of Irving, Rosalba Gonzales and husband Felipe of Whitney, Angel Escobar and wife Neyda of Dublin, and Patrick Ramos and wife Anahi of Malone; her grandchildren, Jonathan Gonzales, Jonathan Gonzales and wife Erika, Alan Gonzales and wife Evelyn, Angel Escobar, Daniel Escobar, Joel Escobar, Mia Escobar, Adrian Escobar, Lorenzo Ramos, Eliana Ramos, and Liliana Ramos; her great grandchildren, Myra Gonzales, Jonathan Gonzales Jr., Gabriel Gonzales, Eva Gonzales, Theodoro Gonzales, and one on the way; her sibilings, Pedro, Gabriela, Pascual, Benjamin, Cipriano, Vicente, and Concepcion Charrez; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Pallbearers are Angel Escobar, Damian Escobar, Patrick Ramos, Jonathan Gonzales, Alan Gonzales, Angel D. Escobar, Daniel Escobar, and Joel Escobar.

Margarita Charrez Pedraza, de De León, Texas, amada madre, abuela y bisabuela, partió de este mundo inesperadamente en un accidente el 7 de diciembre de 2025, a los 68 años de edad.

El rosario se rezará el domingo a las 2:00 p.m. en la capilla de la funeraria Aderhold en West, seguido por la visita hasta las 4:00 p.m. La Misa de Cristian Burial se celebrará el lunes 15 de diciembre de 2025 a las 10:00 a.m. en la Iglesia Católica St. Mary’s of the Assumption en West, con el Reverendo Timothy Vaverek como celebrante. El entierro seguirá en el Cementerio de St. Mary’s.

Margarita nació el 27 de diciembre de 1956, en Ixmiquilpan, Hidalgo, México, hija de Andrés y Blandina Charrez. Margarita dedicó más de 20 años a su trabajo como costurera, armando botas vaqueras a la medida en Kimmel Boot Company en Comanche, Texas, donde su habilidad era un reflejo de su espíritu trabajador.
