Larry Cowan

Larry Wayne Cowan, age 71, of Groesbeck, formerly of Waco, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026 at his residence.

Per his request, no services will be held. He will be laid to rest next to his mother at White Rock Cemetery near Ross.

Larry was born April 6, 1955 in Waco, the son of the late William Cowan and Ada (Tennison) Cowan. He was a graduate of Richfield High School in Waco.

Survivors include his daughter, Shannon Cowan Bass; a grandson, Zach Bass; his sister, Donna Dunn; his brother, Ronald Cowan; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
