Kimberly Spear

Kimberly Kay "Kim" Spear, age 54, of the Rogers Hill area near West, passed away Monday, September 22, 2025 at her residence.

A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 29, 2025 at the Maypearl Cemetery in Maypearl.

Kim was born July 28, 1971 in Waxahachie, the daughter of James and Carolyn (Kerbow) Spear. She attended schools in Waxahachie. Kim was recently baptized and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She worked as a waitress for C.J.'s Cafe in Maypearl and Venus, and was a cashier at Circle Kher and Denny's. Kim enjoyed taking care of her animals and listening to music.

Kim is preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Spear; a brother, David Spear and his wife Tracy; an uncle, Robert Spear; and a brother-in-law, Richard Hobbs.

Survivors include her father, James Milton Spear; a brother, Alan Spear and wife Beverly; a sister, Deanna Hobbs; her boyfriend, Mark Martinez; aunts, Georgia Spear, Melba Sonnier, and Pamela McMullen; nieces, Courtney Spear, Lindsey Hobbs and husband Jose Diaz, Melissa Hobbs, Amanda Hobbs and Sarah Hobbs; a nephew, Shawn Hobbs; her beloved dog, Layla; and many other relatives and friends.
