Jeff Stiles

Jeff Allen Stiles, age 63, of Axtell, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2026 at his residence.

A Memorial Visitation will be held 4:00 to 7;00 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2026 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West.

Jeff was born June 29, 1962, in Solano County, California, the son of the late Sandra (Swick) Stiles Ellis and Billie Stiles Jr. He embraced life with a spirit that reflected his love for family, friends, and the great outdoors. Growing up in California, Jeff later moved to Texas, where he attended Smithson Valley High School in Spring Branch. He dedicated his career to his passion for mechanics and became a skilled diesel mechanic, serving companies such as Diesel Power, M. Lipsitz & Company, and Heavy Equipment Repair. Throughout his life, Jeff found joy in fishing, hunting, and spending time doing anything on the water. He was an avid pool player and a dedicated member and captain of "The Just The Tip Pool League," where his skills earned him recognition among friends at Racks 'n' Stacks in Waco. Jeff's friendly demeanor and good-natured competitiveness made him a cherished champion who could beat anyone he faced.

Survivors include his son, CVN73 Trent W. Stiles IT2 USN, presently stationed on the USS George Washington Aircraft Carrier; brothers, David Stiles and wife Ida, and Aaron Stiles and wife Sharon; his good friend, Ed Newhart and his wife Teresa Machina along with their children Kierstyn, Elizabeth and Annistyn who considered him "Uncle Jeff"; his nieces and nephews, Christina Stiles, Billie Jean Stiles, David Stiles Jr., Leslie Stiles Graham and husband Henry, Liz Whitlock, and Traci Stiles; and many other relatives and friends.
