Jacqueline Kay Morgan, age 76, of Waco, passed away Saturday evening, August 30, 2025 at West Rest Haven.
A visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 5, at Aderhold Funeral Home in West.
Jacqueline was born July 11, 1949 in Waco, the Daughter of Glenn and Erma (Howard) Jordan. A proud graduate of Waco High School, Class of 1967, Jacqueline married the love of her life, William Morgan, on March 25, 1967. Their marriage was a lasting union until William's passing on February 8, 2006. Jacqueline dedicated over 18 years of her life as a cook at Christi's Hamburgers in Bellmead, where her warm presence and delicious food were cherished by many. She found great joy in life's simple pleasures like playing cards, sewing, cooking, reading, and fishing with her husband. She especially loved watching cooking shows and was known for her nurturing spirit, always stepping into the role of caretaker for her loved ones. Above all, Jacqueline treasured time spent with family and friends, creating lasting memories through her kindness and unwavering love.
Jacqueline is also preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Brittney Holland.
Survivors include her children, Charlotte Morgan of Waco, Sarah Ingram of Waco, Donna Herring of West, Patricia Morgan of Waco, and William Morgan Jr. of Waco; grandchildren, Lacy Lee, Brandon Holland, Taylor Hamlin, Kyle Herring, Aaron Hamlin, Kinna Morgan, Jared Morgan, Justin Morgan, Chad Watkins Jr., and Elizabeth Watkins; 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Bettinger and Glenda Harley; a sister-in-law, June Hodde; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Rest Haven.
