Georgie Hutchison

Georgie Mae (Dvorak) Hutchison, age 78, of Waco, passed away early Thursday morning, July 17, 2025 at West Rest Haven in West.

A rosary will be recited 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, followed by visitation until 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2025 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Elk, with Rev. Walter Dhanwar as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Georgie was born on February 5, 1947, in West the daughter of John and Emma (Dirba) Dvorak.
She worked diligently as a material handler for the AAFES Waco Express dedicating over 20 years of service before her retirement in 2010. She also spent 14 years working with Purvis Industries and Certain-Teed, where her strong work ethic and dedication were well recognized. Georgie was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she participated faithfully, embodying her deep spirituality and strong sense of community. Furthermore, her involvement with the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Mart reflected her commitment to supporting veterans and their families. In her leisure time, Georgie found joy in playing bingo and gambling, often traveling to Louisiana and Oklahoma to indulge in her favorite pastimes. However, her greatest delight came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and cheering them on at their various events.

Georgie is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, John Dvorak; sisters, Leona Gerik and husband Eugene, Mary Young and husband Edgar, and Evelyn Kolar; and the father of her children, Dannie Hutchison; .

Survivors include her children, Doris Hodde and husband Calvin, and Paul Hutchison and fiancee Tonia Stockman; her grandchildren, Brittany Hutchison, Paul "PJ" Hutchison Jr. and fiancee Tuong, Allyson Blassingame, Jennifer Terry and husband Adam, Michael Hodde and wife Sarah, Chance Hodde, Corley Hodde; great-grandchildren, Braden Terry, Baley Terry, Austin Terry, Rebekah Sigler, Jazmin Onalaja, Robert Hodde, Michael Dean Hodde, Brynlee Rose Benfer, and Briggs Benfer; sister-in-law, Patsy Dvorak; a brother-in-law, Raymond Kolar; a daughter-in-law, Destiny Hedrick; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Michael Hodde, Corley Hodde, P.J. Hutchison, Adam Terry, Joey Kolar, Matthew Dvorak, and Allen Owen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Association or American Heart Association.
