Doug Earl, Sr.

Douglas Allen “Doug” Earl Sr., age 60, of Ft. Worth, passed away June 28, 2025 at his residence.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Doug was born December 26, 1964 in Hillsboro, the son of Kenneth and Delois (Herring) Earl. He attended Everman High School in Ft. Worth. Doug worked at Loma Plastics and Paragon as a shipping and receiving supervisor. His passions in life were baseball, passed on to him by his father, and he passed on to his boys. He loved coaching the kids and teaching them everything he knew. He also loved riding motorcycles with Marty and playing pool in Everman at the Gold Putter or any pool hall he could find. Doug never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye.

Doug is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Earl.

Survivors include his sons, Jacob Earl and Douglas Earl, Jr.; his mother, Delois Earl; his grandchildren, Cordelia Earl and Cambria Earl; brothers, Kenneth Earl, Jr. and William Lee Earl; the mother of his children, Jeanette Fernandez; and many other relatives and friends.
