Dolious Monita Williamson, age 98, of Robinson, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025 at The Atrium of Bellmead in Waco.
A Memorial Graveside Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Pearl Cemetery near Gatesville, with Rev. James Stevens officiating.
Dolious was born February 28, 1927 in Pearl, the daughter of Charles and Edith (Walker) Freeman. Dolious attended schools in Pearl and furthered her education at 4C Business School in Waco. A skilled beautician, Dolious devoted many years of her life to her passion. She owned and operated Dodie's Beauty Salon, where her gift for enhancing beauty flourished. Additionally, Dolious worked for Montgomery Ward in Waco. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dolious enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She found enjoyment in sewing, quilting, and tending to her yard and garden. A lover of travel, she explored the varied landscapes of Texas.
Dolious is also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Inez Arnold; brother, John Freeman; and the father of her children, Woody Williamson.
Survivors include her children, Ricky Williamson of West, and Shelia McFarland of Conroe; grandchildren, Cody Williamson, Rikki Jones and husband Nathan, William McFarland and wife Candace, and Kelly Piperato and husband Daniel; seven great-grandchildren; a great great-granddaughter, Paula Ann; niece, Kim Holden; nephews, Johnny Freeman, Ashley Freeman, Stevie Freeman, and Quade Holden; and many other relatives and friends.
