Clint Parker

July 14, 1966 — February 19, 2026

Clint Dean Parker, age 59, of Riesel, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026 at his home.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at the Hallsburg City Hall.

Clint was born July 14, 1966 in Marlin, the son of the late Richard and Mary (Blackmon) Parker. He was raised in Limestone County, where he developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for nature and family. He earned an Associate's Degree in Automotive Technology from Texas State Technical College, followed by a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from Tarleton State University. With a diverse career that included significant roles in clinical laboratory technology, he dedicated the last chapter of his professional life to WalMart, where he worked in industrial refrigeration technology studies. On May 26, 2004, Clint married Rebecca Hardin-Smith in Las Vegas. Together, they created a warm and welcoming home in Riesel, where they nurtured a loving family. Clint attended Hallsburg Baptist Church. His passion for the outdoors led him to become a boat captain for the Riesel Indian Youth Fishing Club, sharing his love for fishing and boating with younger generations. His primary joys were simple yet profound: fishing, traveling the world, and tending to his farm were pursuits he cherished. However, nothing brought him greater happiness than spending quality time with his daughters and his nine beloved grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Rebecca Parker of Riesel; children, Misty Losak and husband Dustin, of Lacy Lakeview, and Jamie Harris and husband Scott, of China Spring; 9 grandchildren; a brother, Daniel Joe Parker; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
