Alejandrina Murguia Chavez

Alejandrina Murguia Chavez, age 45, of McAlester, OK. passed away Thursday morning, March 20, 2008 in Waco. A rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Aderhold Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Alejandrina was born April 23, 1962 in Chalchihuites, Mexico, the daughter of Florencio and Florencia (Castaneda) Chavez. In October of 1981 she was united in marriage to Angel Murguia. Alejandrina was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in McAlester, OK. Survivors include her husband, Angel Murguia of McAlester, OK; her father, Florencio Chavez of Mexico; two sons, Noe Murguia and Angel Murguia, Jr., both of McAlester, OK; three daughters, Christina Salgado and Letisia Quinonez, both of Oklahoma City, OK, and Maryli Murguia of McAlester, OK; five brothers, Raul Chavez, Samuel Chavez, Rodolfo Chavez, Manuel Chavez, and Saul Chavez; five sisters, Celia Chavez, Imelda Chavez, Blasa Chavez, Sofia Chavez, and Maria De Los Angeles; five grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Pallbearers will be Greg Branam, Jose Angel Perez, Franco Perez, Gustavo Salgado, Francisco Murguia, Jesus Perez, Orlando Chavez, and Jesus Chavez. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
