Wesley Pustejovsky, 95, of Abbott, Texas, peacefully passed away on February 14, 2022 at his home and in the presence of family.
Graveside service were held 12:00 noon Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Fatima Cemetery near Abbott, with Deacon Terry Timmons officiating.
Wesley was born October 29, 1926 at the family farmhouse in Abbott. He was a paratrooper in the United States Army and served during World War II. Upon his return to the States, he attended and graduated from the University of Texas and became a successful businessman and geophysicist in the Houston area. Wesley was a devout parishioner at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houston. He was also a founder and board member of the Czech Center Museum in Houston and a long time member of the Serra Club.
Wesley was preceded in death by his wife, Janell; a sister, Christine Polansky; and brothers, Frank, Clement, and Henry Pustejovsky
Survivors include five children, Sandra Michael, Dan Pustejovsky, Terry Kloos, Vicki Suchy, and John Pustejovsky; a brother, Johnnie Pustejovsky; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
