Robert Bob Oxborough

Robert M. "Bob" Oxborough, age 85, of Whitney, passed away early Thursday morning, June 2, 2016 at Providence Hospice Place in Waco. As per Bob's wishes, no services will be held. Bob was born April 18, 1931 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of Edward P. and Helen (Nelson) Oxborough. He served his country with the United States Army during the Korean War. On February 24, 1954, he was united in marriage to Adella Moore in Dallas. Bob was a security guard for the Vaco Veterans Administration Hospital in Waco for many years. He also owned and operated Oxborough Services Company in Whitney, a sand and gravel company. Survivors include his beloved wife of 62 years, Adella Oxborough of Whitney; a brother, Edward Oxborough; good friends, Beverly and John Keen; and many other relatives and friends.
