Melody Maloy

Melody (Robinson) Maloy, age 60, of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2011 in Chattanooga. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Elm Mott Church of Christ, 301 Old Dallas Rd., with Minister Rusty Kwast officiating. Melody was born September 20, 1950 in Waco, the daughter of William Harold and Marie (Sulak) Robinson. She attended Connally schools and graduated from Connally High School in 1969. She then attended McLennan Community College prior to receiving a degree in Political Science from Baylor University in 1973. Melody had a long and successful career in banking and as a financial advisor in Dallas. In 1995, she and her family relocated to Chattanooga and remained there until her death. Melody is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include two daughters, Ashley (Maloy) Walker and Lacey Maloy of Chattanooga; three grandsons, Gage, Phillip, and Tommy; a sister, Joy Aldridge and husband Doug of West; and numerous extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made in Melody's name to the charity of your choice.
