Marie Miller

July 30, 1925 — June 15, 2005

Marie Miller, age 79, of West, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2005 in Waco. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West with Rev. Terry McElrath officiating. Burial will follow at Bold Springs Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Marie was born on July 30, 1925 in McLennan County, the daughter of Ivy Murdon Webb and Alice Mae (Kent) Webb. She attended schools in the West area. Marie operated a day care center from her home since 1969. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and also those children that she cared for. She also enjoyed cooking. Marie was a member of First Baptist Church in West. Her parents; an infant daughter; her son, George Michael Miller; a daughter-in-law Patricia Ann Miller; her brother, Hulon Webb; her sister; Ruby Cox all preceded her in death. Survivors include her son, John David Miller and his wfe Sharon of Plano; her daughter, Pam Vaughn and her husband Henry of West; two brothers, Bobby Gene Webb and his wife Joyce of Lorena and John Abe Webb and his wife Ann of McKinney; six sisters, Shirley Bailey and her husband Wayne of Lubbock, Virginia Webb of Abbott, Nancy Fae Hurtt of West, Billie Ruth Malone and Betty Jo Winton and her husband Jim all of Waco, and Frances Craig and husband Harold of Post; 7 grandchildren, Shari Childers and her husband James, Sarah Proctor and her husband Raymond, Jessica Miller, Joshua Vaughn, Justin Vaughn, Jared Miller, and Tonya Miller; 3 great-grandchildren, Alex Childers, Alia Childers and Ben Childers. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund.
