Lillian Ryno Fleming

Lillian (Ryno) "Pill" Fleming, age 84, of West, passed away early Friday afternoon, May 17, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Minister Sam Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow at White Rock Cemetery near Ross. The family will receive visitors from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Lillian was born July 10, 1928 in Munger, the daughter of Tom H. and Alice (Stockton) Ryno. She attended grade school in Munger and Coolidge High School. On December 28, 1946 she was united in marriage to Edgardene Fleming in Waco. He preceded her in death on December 11, 2003. Lillian was a housewife and mother. She also worked as a baker for the Nors Bakery in West for many years, before retiring in 1986. She was a member of the Elm Mott Church of Christ. Lillian enjoyed gardening, reading, working crossword puzzles, crocheting, fishing and cooking. She especially loved spending time with her family. Lillian is also preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Terry Lee Woodward; a brother, Walter Ryno; and sisters, Thelma Lewis, Myrtle Lewis, and Lois Lands. Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Woodward of West; two sons, David M. Fleming and wife Catherine of Waco and Thomas C. Fleming and wife Sharon of Grand Saline; a sister, Beulah Hahn; grandchildren, Misty Bitterrman and husband Curley, Tim Woodward and wife Nicole, Katrina Brown, T.J. Fleming and Jillian Fleming; great grandchildren, Alex, Kourtney, Mason, Phillip, Christy, Timothy, Kameron and Christopher; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Active pallbearers are David Fleming, Tom Fleming, Curley Bitterman, Tim Woodward, Ray Garey and Alex Woodward. Honorary pallbearer is Mike Lewis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cherokee Home for Children, 13355 State Highway 16, Cherokee, TX 76832.
