Joshua Brandon Hale

Joshua Brandon Hale, age 45, of Springtown, formerly of Abbott, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022 at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.

Funeral Service will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West with Pastor David Laningham.  Military Rites will follow conducted by the West Veterans Honor Guard.  The family will receive visitors from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Joshua was born December 11, 1976 in Danville, the son of Donnie and Dianna (Phillips) Hale.  He was a 1994 graduate of Abbott High School.  After graduating High School, Joshua joined the United States Marine Corps serving as a diesel mechanic.  Joshua enjoyed working on diesel engines, collecting firearms, model building, youth rodeo and riding bulls, listening to heavy metal and rock music, and hanging out with friends.  He was a craftsman making several keepsakes as gifts for his family.

Joshua is preceded in death by his father, Donnie Joe Hale.

Survivors include his mother, Dianna Lynn Hale of Abbott; son, Cody Hale of Abbott; daughter, Lelayna Hale of Burleson; brothers, Jared Hale and wife Susan of Abbott and Jon M. Hale and wife Sarah of Houston; nephews, Garrett  Hale and wife Cameron, Ezra Hale, and Logan Holt; great niece and nephew, Raeliegh and Dawson; and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association or Wounded Warrior Project.
