Upon graduation, she worked at the West Community Hospital for over 15 years until her retirement in 1987. She was a member of Catholic Daughters of America Court No. 829, K.J.Z.T. Society No. 11 and St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters, Lydia Braden and Angeline Krenek; a niece, Donna St. Pierre; and her beloved Springer Spaniel, Marco. She is survived by five children, all of whom, with her support, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin: Patricia Kolar and husband Roger of Austin, Albin Sulak Jr. of Houston, Michael Sulak and wife Jeanette of West, Timothy Sulak and wife Gail of Austin, and Jane Luco and husband Jerry of Houston; her grandchildren, Paul Sulak and wife Melissa, Susan Bohn and husband Bill, Stephen Kolar, Jill Vrla and husband Frankie, Emily Kolar, Anthony Kolar, John Kolar and Sarah Sulak; two great grandchildren, Dawson and Emma Sulak; her devoted sister, Clara Prikyrl of West; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Paul Sulak, Stephen Kolar, Anthony Kolar, John Kolar, Bill Bohn and Frankie Vrla.
