Dorothy Neslony

Dorothy (Fedro) Neslony, age 91, of Lacy Lakeview, passed away Saturday evening, February 10, 2018 at Wesley Woods Center in Waco. A rosary will be recited and Mass of Christian Burial celebrated 4:00 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with Msgr. Isidore Rozycki as celebrant, assisted by Dr. Lisa Neslony. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 3:00 p.m. until service time Friday at the church. Dorothy was born August 13, 1926 in Riesel, the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth (Oberle) Fedro. She attended schools in Riesel. On May 8, 1945 she was united in marriage to Joe A. Neslony in San Antonio. Joe preceded her in death on March 16, 2016. Dorothy was a homemaker and mother. She also worked at the Jean Marie Dress Shop and K-Mart before retiring. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellmead. Dorothy was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America Court #829, KJZT St. Ludmilla Society #11 and the West Bass Club. She enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, rock collecting and traveling. Dorothy is also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter-in-law, Geraldine Neslony; brothers, Bennie and Carl Fedro; a sister, Rosella Davis. Survivors include her children, Mary Jordan and husband Michael of Cedar Hill, James Neslony and wife Jimmie Lou of Edmond, OK, David Neslony and wife Lisa of Stephenville and Paul Neslony and wife Janie of Ross; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Jason Neslony, Jonathan Neslony, Christopher Jordan, Alicia Neslony Keith, Timothy Neslony, Jennifer Jordan, Amanda Wiswall, Aaron Neslony and Micah Neslony. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meals On Wheels, P.O. Box 85, Waco, Tx. 76701 or Providence Hospice. The family would like to thank Providence Hospice and Cindy Frasier for the love and support shown to their mother.
