Dorothy Kettler

Dorothy Kettler, age 81, of West, known to her family as "Dot", passed away early Wednesday morning, April 6, 2022 at her residence.

Memorial Graveside Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at White Rock Cemetery near Ross, with Dr. John Crowder officiating.

Dorothy was born November 16, 1940 in Brady, Texas the daughter of the late Audie and Juanita (Winkler) Wilson.  She was a graduate of Rochelle High School near Brady.  On June 28, 1963 she was united in marriage to Homer "Cotton" Kettler in Clifton.  Cotton preceded her in death on June 6, 1997.  Dorothy was the manager for Heitmiller's Family Steakhouse in Elm Mott for over 20 years before retiring in 2012.  Dorothy enjoyed cooking, attending family sporting events, and watching all Baylor University sports.

Survivors include her son, Richard and Sandra Kettler of West; three grandchildren, Blake and Amanda Kettler of Abbott, Calvin and Kayla Kettler of West, and Maddison Kettler of West; three great grandsons, Hannon, Theodore, and Graham; and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to White Rock Cemetery Association.
