Daniel Wilford Urbish, age 85, of Penelope, passed away Sunday morning, April 23, 2017 at Clifton Nursing and Rehab in Clifton. A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 27, 2017 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with Rev. Paul Hudson as celebrant. Military Graveside Rites will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Daniel was born November 15, 1931 in Penelope, the son of Louis and Lydia (Antoncik) Urbish. He attended school in Penelope. Daniel served his country with the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. Daniel was also a member of the VFW Post #4819. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed visiting with his family and friends. Daniel is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jerry Urbish and Albert Urbish; and sisters, Martha Benivic, his twin, Danelle Mynar and Lucille Goerbig. Survivors include many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are James Miller, Coy Miller, Michael Berger, Mike Haddix, Clayton Wilson, Nathan Ortega, Marcus Goetz and Josh Mynar. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Volunteer Fire Department or to the Penelope Volunteer Fire Department.
