Carl D. Turner

Carl D. Turner Sr., age 64, of Aquilla, passed away early Sunday afternoon, October 1, 2017 at his residence. Per Carl's request, no memorial services will be held. Carl was born November 18, 1952 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, the son of David R. and Mary (Patty) Turner. He attended Horsemann School in Mt. Vernon. Carl was a long haul truck driver for over 40 years, before retiring in 2014. On December 27, 2014 he was united in marriage to Brenda Kays in West. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Turner of Aquilla; son, Mike Dienburg and wife Debbie of Dunkirk, IN and Carl Turner Jr. and wife Carrie of Bonnie, IL; daughters, Geri Lynn Morrow of Barstow, CA, Toni Ruiz and husband Luis of Aquilla and Ashley Campos of Waxahachie; sisters, Mary Jo Burns and husband Clyde, Nancy Puckett and Teresa Baker and husband Richard; 11 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
